Awards
The Original Tour is delighted to become London's first sightseeing company to be awarded VisitBritain's Visitor Attraction Quality Assurance Standard (VAQAS). This brings our total number of awards to 12 within the last 3 years, helped by the introduction of 34 new purpose built buses - part of a £5 million fleet investment to ensure that your visitors get the very best attention.
Investing in Accessibility
As London prepares to host not only the 2012 Olympic games but also the Paralympics, we are committed to continuing our investment in easily accessible buses and in our website. By Summer 2007 over a third of our sightseeing fleet will be wheelchair accessible.
To complement our award-winning, fully open-top buses introduced last year we are now working with East Lancashire Coachbuilders to produce a new, bespoke sightseeing vehicle with a front canopy. In addition to looking good, the vehicle will be fitted with an environmentally friendly, low emissions engine, our superb new commentary system and will feature full wheelchair accessibility.
Kids' Club Winner - June 2008
